Graphics drivers are a little weird in edge cases (e.g. Trackpad drivers are only ok (no Windows precision Trackpad support) ![]() But there are loads of quirks and nitpicks depending on specifically which MacBook you’re on.īrightness adjustment curve is terrible (the bottom 3 brightness levels are basically 20%/40%/60% and then you get the rest of the levels are useless) Feels sluggish, and drains your battery.īootcamp is decent (used it for a few years on a retina MacBook). ![]() Parallels/VMware is good if you occasionally need a Windows program, but if you’ll be spending a lot of time in Windows you’ll want to use bootcamp. I think Windows laptops caught up a while back - the MacBook Air used to be one of the better Windows laptop options lol.
